美国人在加拿大買房借贷新政策
March 21st, 2010现在美国居民在加拿大购买房产将变得容易得多。从现在开始，你可以以最低只需要20%的首付款在加拿大购买房产。同时加拿大和美国之间的税收协定也会有一些变化，加银行再也不会对美国居民的利率进行整体提升处理。但是收入，首付和信用历史将会照旧进行确认，并将接受同样的借债资格评估。
美国和加拿大之间增经有一项税务协定，加国银行必须将利率整体提升1.48到 1.74倍，然后将提升后扣下的税款通知给美国IRS（国内收入署）。而签署新协议的银行就再也不用对美国居民这样做了，因为这项税收协定已经结束。如果其他银行没有跟进，美国购买者就必须要支付较高的利息除非他们签署声明说该房产将会用于个人使用，这样他们的利息才不会增加。有些传统银行通常要求35%的首付款。
因此如果你有美国的朋友或亲戚有意在加拿大购置房产，他们应该考虑向按揭中介咨询以获得更多的帮助
